^Waoooo i really like to see it from the side, the proportion looks amazing! The style of this car is just perfect IMO, really a nice improvement over the outgoing model. I wonder how the next GranTurismo will look like..
Can't wait to see the real official photos, when is it due anyway?

The proportions is still there which is already great, but the styling is much better improved especially the front fascia. Great job Maserati!
Yes, seems like this new Quattroporte will adopt 4-door coupe style with that frameless windows. Nice!

Rear lights look a bit more bland though. Or at least more like other cars. Still, this is going to be a nice improvement over already good looking car!

I think the rear of the new QP is more GT inspired, whereas the current QP is the continuation of the old GT.

You know what, the new one looks like it could be anything. Another generic 4-Door with an Audi inspired greenhouse and a fastback-y, "4 Door Coupe" look. The current one, although not my favorite design, is 100% its own thing; A Maserati.

Rear lights look a bit more bland though. Or at least more like other cars. Still, this is going to be a nice improvement over already good looking car!

And it looks like frameless door indeed, which is nice!

Definitely agreed about the rear lights.

After seeing all those posts on the other page, I really start to agree with this.
Also, from the side, from the C pillar on, it reminds me of an A4 :/

To me, the exterior styling of the new generation is quite clearly an evolution of the current one. The front grill is set as low as before, the shoulder line which kicks up over the rear wheels has been accentuated on the new car, the overall shape of the side windows are the very similar, it is now more elongated and more tapered towards the end. Overall I think it is a very nicely done update on the styling theme set by the current car.

Rumors says there might not be a direct replacement for the GT as Maserati is looking at entering the mid engine performance coupe market.

Rumors says that plus to Quattroporte, Levante, Kubang, GranTourismo and GranCabrio, there will be GranSport, a mid engined performance sportscar based on the Alfa Romeo 4C. But I don't believe this rumor. 4C has its engine monted transversally, like the Elise/Exige for example. You can't really fit in a V8. Maybe they'll fit a V6, but the platform layout is just not enough good IMO. Maserati/Alfa Romeo have been promissing many things, till today none of what they promised is confirmed.

Jeeeeez, they really can't hide the Charger/300 roots. The interior looks good for a general interior, but lacks any Italian feel. You can just smell and touch the Charger/300 inside it from looking at those pics.
