Yes.More s class like than ever.
Lol noor are the vans ,buses and trucks hurting MBs C02 fleet reductions, suspect it’s the latter.
I hardly doubt it.5 Series will look much better imo. That EQ-esque front end looks like crap, the rest of the car looks flawless though.
This gen LCI 5 is one of the best ever. Better than an E39?? I would say so… justForthcoming E-Class already looks better than next 5er, imo.
The best looking of its segement maybe, or on pair with the A6, but the worst looking 5er and the most uninspiring looking as pre LCI and generic after with Skoda vibes. This gen LCI 5 is one of the best ever. Better than an E39?? I would say so… just
The E39 is a brilliant car, it perhaps one of the best BMW saloons ever. It was a massive leap over the E34 and a big nightmare for the Mercedes W210. The styling looks so elegant, and the size and proportions are perfect. It is the best looking of the 1990s saloons such as E46 and E38 and the interior is every bit as good as the 7-series with really amazing comfy seats. The best looking of its segement maybe, or on pair with the A6, but the worst looking 5er and the most uninspiring looking as pre LCI and generic after with Skoda vibes.
Comparong it to the others it’s an insult for the very elegant looking G11 and timeless E60.
The E39 touches no1.
All that, it is unanimous that it is "perfect" in every way, but what always caught my attention in its exterior design is how different it was and still is from the "traditional" philosophy of the brand, a practically invisible kink and a roof drop / C pillar so atypical, even so, it looks and feels like a BMW and that front so well achieved and eternalThe E39 is a brilliant car, it perhaps one of the best BMW saloons ever. The E39 may be good looking, but they were notoriously unreliable, and technically probably one of the worst cars BMW have made. They had a lot of problems. That is very contrary to the vox populi that mostly praises those same parameters added to everything else, but I have no doubt that maybe it turned out badly for youThe E39 may be good looking, but they were notoriously unreliable, and technically probably one of the worst cars BMW have made. Yup. Particularly the first units. My dad had one and it had all sort of problems. The worst one has a brakes issue that almost cause him a car crash. The E39 may be good looking, but they were notoriously unreliable, and technically probably one of the worst cars BMW have made.
