My question is why can Porsche get chips. although limited, and Mercedes doesn't seem to be able to.

and you can bet that VW-Audi would prioritize supply to the most profitable brands and models such as Porsche, Audi, Lamborghini, Bentley.

The Mercedes dealer here has NO CARS at all. Nothing. They looked out of business. I have never seen it look like this. Third quarter sales are going to dismal outside of the S-Class.

I highly doubt at age 87 Bruno is any shape to handle the role of design chief. It’s not like Mercedes is chained to Gorden, if the board was dissatisfied they would’ve gone shopping for new talent by now.

I wasn't completely serious, but he doesn't have to be design chief either.

Porsche dealer here is depleted as well..

Regarding Mercedes the G class all
Models orders closed until 2022 been like that for a couple of months already

Same thing with the Audi dealer I work at. Completely empty and barely any inventory coming through.

I am extending my MB C 43 lease almost 10 months because they have zero inventory. It's crazy.

And the BMW dealers?
The dealers around me have the X3, X5, and X7 on the lot and barely anything else. And even then they're in far reduced numbers than usual. I'm kicking myself for not buying an Alpina XB7 last year that was sitting at the dealer for several months when I had the chance.

Times couldn't be better for those who own a vanity/dream car, have scratched the itch but now want out of it.

Maybe it's the camera lens used to take these pics, but something seems a bit off with the proportions shown. Can't exactly put my finger on it, but the everything from the A-pillar to the back end of the soft-top with relation to the door looks odd.

Maybe it's because of that new type of camouflage, minimal, but quite distracting.
Also additional "AMG" details, black wheels, etc, compact the whole and as I supposed they take away all the charm of a vehicle whose claim should be different even in "63s" trim.
It should be a slightly different and special treatment being an SL, we will see ...
