In my imaginary dream garage I would have a Brabus restored one along side a Singer Porsche.Looking at that quality, it looks to be worth whatever they're asking. It looks like Mercedes just built it.

The Singer perfect, but the Brabus... is a Brabus SL restored or an SL restored by Brabus?, big differenceIn my imaginary dream garage I would have a Brabus restored one along side a Singer Porsche.
The R129 SL looks great with so many different types of wheels. With that light colored interior, it's so much better than modern cars, get out of that and get into a Tesla.... I don't get it, it's a great way to go to the office every day, what envy, it's like a goal have one like that, I must move out of this country first (there must be two here), I think.
Almost all contemporary wheels look beautiful on it, the 8-hole ones, these 5-hole ones, and the AMG ones, I don't even know which one suits it better

SL restored by Brabus.
Concourse level workmanship with highly detailed documentation of the original car and the restoration process.
The panoramic roof, it’s perfect.See what I mean? The R129 looks better with the hard top in place than without it. If I had a late R129 SL 600, I'd put the hard top on and leave it there forever.
The panoramic roof, it’s perfect.
You are not allowed to forget to post things like this, how dare you, those wheels equal (similar) to those of the SLR concept take the biggest prize, I never understood why they didn't put them on the production SLR and here they are, they are realI forgot to post back in the summer that I bought a R230 SL500 as a project car and cruiser. I was set on a SL55, but everyone was looking for crazy money I'd did not want to spend on a near 20 year old car. Plus this model has the coil over swap to save me tons of misery. The powertrain is absolutely bullet proof - not particularly fast, but smooth and solid.
What disappoints me a bit is the amount of cheap buttons and the roof trim pieces I've has to swap out due to rattles or breakage... early 2000's MB build quality doing it's magic. Otherwise it's a fantastic budget proposition, with no ABC of course and a service record.
As far as the poll - I'd probably go with very late model SL600 (missed the boat as they are worth a lot now), followed by a R230 Sl55/65.

should the roof decide to shatter itself.
