That is it? So the A3 is much much better. This new Golf VII that is not even officially revealed and already looks outdated. Interior is an improvement however.

To me, as a potential customer of this segment, the 1er and A Class are ahed of the buch by a mile. This same Golf, with a beefier front and a different tail lights graphics would be so much better.

The interior, at least in its appearance, is class leading that is for sure, we have to wait for the press release for the technicals.

Lifted the son's new Polo on Monday morning and unofficially the two most exciting additions will be the GTI and GTD, according to what's being feed to the dealers is the GTI will get 240hp, I said I heard as much as 260hp though I think this will put it too close to the S3 if it only gets 276hp and next is the GTD, bi-turbo is the word and 210-215hp is the figure, no joking.

Personally I'd pick the GTD, killed overtaking ability with unbelievable mpg.

P.S.
As for the regular Golf............what about A3, A-class & 1series? Forgot them already because this is the daddy.

At the moment Im reading swedish Automotorsport. Came with my post today. There are pictures of a blue Golf (almost like Estorilblue look). Looks great. Why are those photos not on the internet yet?

Stunning! The side profile and rear looks amazing, it makes the car look more solid than the A3 and the new A-Class to me. A3 should have that interior! The front... hmmm, well it's just a lifted VI with a touch of the new Polo, isn't that bad, but the GTI and R version will make it hot, i have no doubts.
The new VII confirms that the new 1er BMW is still the ugliest of all...

By the way, am i the only one who loves that clear and simply design direction of new VW's?

I believe that GCF had by far the best and most comprehensive coverage of the Golf VII subject (and many others of course). Not even VW Vortex or the others had as much useful and timely information as GCF

Looks great. Kind of makes my Focus look like a clown car. This is sophisticated and restrained. Hope that when it comes in US spec they don't give us base spec or fully loaded as the only options.

I can also j/k by saying that better than totally screw up the design like BMW did with F20.
And the A3 is miles ahead by the looks of the Golf.
