X1 [Official] The new 2022 BMW X1 and iX1

The BMW X1 is a line of cars produced by BMW since 2009. A subcompact luxury crossover class, the first-generation X1 was based on the E90 3 Series and offered rear-wheel drive layout as standard. The second-generation X1 marked the switch to a front-wheel-drive-based layout using the UKL2 platform shared with the BMW 2 Series Active Tourer and the Mini Countryman.
It’s an observation.

If by resemble present day Skodas, you mean they both have 4 doors and 4 wheels, then sure, otherwise no. The outline of the Octavia is pretty different to the new 5 series, not to mention the proportions.

woah these share the similar horizontal lines! clearly copying the design from bmw.
You put two comparative photos and still you don't see it, that's fine, but with all due respect it denotes the lack of understanding of what conceptual design is, look beyond the general lines and proportions, look at the root and maybe you will see it.

There are 4 or 5 "mother" designs for SUVs, Mercedes, Toyota, BMW, Nissan and sometimes Hyundai the rest derive from one of them including the fantastic Peugeot/Citroen

Frozen colours suit the car exceptionally well. However, I will unlikely see one like the above in person. It’s an expensive paint option that is difficult to justify on an X1.

So, walks all over a Model 3/Y. Too bad no one's got any money now to buy them.

Typical Germans/Germany. Have a 'Wunderwaffe' just as the war is lost. Engineering, sophistication to the nth degree, while Germans are scavenging for firewood.

ME 262, V2, King Tiger etc, no petrol, no materials, no food.
