X3/X4 [Official] The All-New 2014 BMW X4

The BMW X3 is an SUV manufactured by BMW since 2003, based on the BMW 3 Series platform. The BMW X4 is a compact luxury crossover SUV manufactured by BMW since 2014. The X4 is widely considered as a "coupé" version of the X3.
Yep. The M-Sport exterior trim is tricky ... massive front bumpers in full body color, whell arches & rocker panels in body color etc. In some color cases the X4 looks a bit too heavy. Eg. IMHO the best looking trim is the X-Line - featuring black parts + alu parts - so the look is less monotone.

Couldn't agree more here the X-Line is great and would have been my choice for the wife's X1 but she preferred the patterned cloth seats of the Sport though it too has black trim to lift the design, as for the M/Sport I particularly any of them regardless of model in Space Grey as it's dark enough to highlight the curves and creases in the design but not too dark to lose the finer details but they do need to change their policy of everything painted body colour.

X4 also needs (it's mandatory for the car to looks superb) biggest wheels & LED headlights (much sharper & much more aggressive graphics).

The "problem" with such stylish BMW models is they are also usually offered in base "pedestrian" versions: with small wheels, halogen headlights etc

Every manufacturer does this, IMO it's their way of making their cars appear cheaper than how the vast majority leave the showrooms but it's a great way of earning extra cash as the price of optional extras far exceed they cost.

I found this new pic, while googling earlier today. I m not able to link the source, as my antivirus program did not allowed me access to this Russian site www.####.ru

Anyway X4 in black

^ Cars become light, fans become fat?

Uh-oh.....

Rear end looks very similar to the 3 series GT.

Agreed. I demand real life side by side shots! I have yet to see an X4 anywhere here in EU stores though...

X4 vs 3 GT and X6 vs 5er GT have never made much sense to me. They're virtually the same car.

Haha, 35i with M sport package, shiny plastic rear bumper and lame looking exhaust only on the left side? Simply, go fvck yourself BMW! (n):poop:

Oh, and please tell me if we're going to see it at least in the next century that you finally change these cheap looking buttons:

BMW need to up their interior game..its almost a shame that they don't give their customers more for the money..

They milked this cow dry looong time ago..

Thanks for this photo, Palbay. For this what I can see I must say this car looks great. (y)
Is always nice to see a new car on a non-press photo.

holy moly ! this is coming from a long time BMW follower: seriously what were they thinking ? this thing is wrong on so many levels I can't even begin to describe it. It looks like a Chinese knock off car! (no offense meant) Granted I will reserve final judgement until I see one on the road, but very saddened by what I'm seeing

Thx Paybal. The white one is better than the brown one (probably the angle shot doesn't make justice to the color and the car). I really those X-line wheels.

Dear Paybal,

I m surprised you only posted 2 pictures on GCF of the White and the Sparkling Brown spotted X4s. But you took almost 30 pictures of those cars & of a Sophisto grey. I will allow myself to publish here 2 pictures you did, that I really liked.

This is probably (in my point of view) an excellent shot, which shows how bright Sophisto Grey can be under the sun light. It underlines very well the fluidity of the design of the X4: from the roof until the end of the tailgate.

Here another example the SG is in the back

And those roofrails are not so bad. I wonder if I have to add it or not.
