I've always thought that the ultimate "waftability" of an electric powertrain would suit Rolls-Royce well, but there's no denying I find the loss of the V12 to be a major blow.  It's not even the performance, but what it represents.  A full EV powertrain may be better in many respects, but I'd find it less desirable in a number of ways.  I hope they can do something "interesting" if/when they go down the electric route.
