That looks badass!!

Ouch, that rear looks HORRID in the real life pics, seriously Hyundai, I don't see anything Euro or Luxo about it. And the bumper outline (where it attaches to the fender) is horrible too, just very sharp and ungraceful, too obvious, makes the rear look "dumpy", if that makes sense.

That car is beat the hell up too, lol. I guess I'm back to being on the fence about it.

I really wonder how many normal people - and by normal I mean people unlike us who don't spend hours on car forums, who can tell what company makes this car by looking at this pic.

I am gonna ask a few of my friends, I bet not many will pick Porsche, will probably get a few Hyundais or Nissans.

Doubtful any will think porsche I'll bet. I've tried that with lots of people, as no one I know cares about cars. I've done it with Benzes mostly, GLK always gets "Ford or something", never fails, and the rear of the new E-Class always gets Hyundai or some Japanese generic brand.

I have no doubts with new Cayenne will keep with this trend, were I to try it with this car.

Aside from the back, I still think it's an improvement over the previous, based off of pics at least.

This car is such a dramatic important in both looks and finish compared to the model it replaced that I can't see how the other will have a look in when it finally gets to magazine comparison tests.

The only small blip on an otherwise perfect improvement is the rear lights, in my opinion the last model had a nice rear light design compared to this.

Got to sit in a Cayenne S at NYIAS and I was really impressed. Loved the interior most and the seats were unbelievable.

Didn't like the back to be honest. I thought I'd like it once I seen it in real life, but nah, no emotions whatsoever. The front is great, but it's hard to tell for the average Joe if it's the new generation or just a facelift.
You can certainly tell it's gotten shorter and lower.

I'd still get one though :D

BTW, it was a Euro spec if anyone didn't notice.

The car is still rather ugly. Great car no doubt, but definitely not the prettiest SUV design...

That 5er GT is exactly the same one that the one I see around my home every week.

What a fat cow.

Ok, this is OT so if gets deleted, I can understand. I get the 5GT isn't for everybody, it's a niche product. But IMO the rear on that car looks a million times better than the cayenne.

yeah I know, Schnitzer version, but I thought that would be ok against a sporty car like the cayenne, for a fair comparison.
