Cayenne [Official] Porsche Cayenne gets V8 Twin-turbo Diesel Engine

The Porsche Cayenne is a series of automobiles manufactured by Porsche since 2002. It is a luxury crossover SUV, and has been described as both a full-sized and a mid-sized vehicle.
^ but there are significant differences in output beneath the badge. I'm very curious about what separates the brand's equity, if there is any separation beneath the skin and of course, suspension, handling and interior.

I think the difference is the Cayenne Diesel S is getting the latest spec which hasn't been released to Audi cars as yet, I believe the A8 is due to receive this version soon.

Cool thanks. But do you know what changes have been made to the engine? Does anyone know how old this engine is or when it was last revised?

Sorry JLBM. Don't know what's the story just yet. I'd be surprised if this amounted to anything more than higher injection pressures and revised engine mapping.

Thanks Martin. I'm not complaining though, power and torque are great, the car itself is light and apparently it sounds great!
