GT-R [Official] Nissan GT-R NISMO 2014

The Nissan GT-R (Gran Turismo–Racing; model code: R35) is a series of cars built by Nissan from 2007 to 2025. It has a 2+2 seating layout and is considered both a sports car and a grand tourer. The engine is front-mid mounted and drives all four wheels. It succeeds the Nissan Skyline GT-R, a high-performance variant of the Nissan Skyline. The car is built on the PM platform, derived from the FM platform used in the Skyline and Nissan Z models. Production is conducted in a shared production line at Nissan's Tochigi plant in Japan.

Wow some hectic negative camber on the GTR to cause the tyre to do that?

Nissan has delivered the first 2015 GT-R Nismo in the United States.

Bought by Matt McCulloh, the co-founder of the North American GT-R Owners Club (NAGTROC), the GT-R Nismo a twin-turbo 3.8-liter V6 engine that produces 600 bhp (447 kW) and 481 lb-ft (651 Nm) of torque. It is connected to a six-speed sequential dual-clutch transmission and an all-wheel drive system which enabled the car to set a Nürburgring lap time of 7:08.679.

According to McCulloh, "The GT-R NISMO has more than fulfilled my wildest expectations. Just looking at this car – it to me is the quintessential version of the GT-R that I have always longed for."

Since McCulloh is heavily involved in the GT-R community, Nissan executives were on hand to personally deliver the car to him. The company also arranged a garage makeover that apparently included a circular race track floor graphic and an assortment of Craftsman gear.

Nissan says GT-R NISMO's rear end is bigger than Kim Kardashian's

'Our is bigger'
Nissan has issued a funny reply to Kim Kardashian's controversial photo(shopped) for the "Paper Magazine" cover.

The response was posted yesterday on the company's global official Twitter account showing the rear end of the 2015 Nissan GT-R NISMO with the caption "ours is bigger" as a reply to Kim Kardashian's posterior reveal for the cover of "Paper Magazine."

We remind you the GT-R NISMO has an uprated V6 3.8-liter engine delivering a massive 600 HP (441 kW) and 481 lb-ft (652 Nm), enough for a 0-60 mph (0-96 km/h) run in less than three seconds. One last facelift is being prepared for the GT-R lineup and chances are the NISMO version will be included in the refresh as well.

Nissan is showcasing the most track focused version of the much respected and often idolized GT-R at the 2015 Tokyo Auto Salon.

After setting a Nüburgring lap record, the Japanese automaker now offers an N Attack Package for the GT-R NISMO. The package outfits the sports car with the dedicated parts that were specifically developed to optimize aerodynamics and performance, recreating the same vehicle that took the Nürburgring by storm. In order to meet the needs of its customers, Nissan offers two different packages, the N Attack Package A kit and the N Attack Package B kit. Package A comes with everything to achieve the same performance as the time attack car (minus the driver) while Package B is more friendly for daily driving.

Both kits come complete with suspension modifications including new shocks, springs and stabilizer bars while new front brake pads give the GT-R NISMO more stopping power. Also included in both packages are aerodynamic improvements with new carbon fiber front fenders, front add-on spoiler and carbon fiber rear wing. Differences between the two packages comes with the interior and engine changes, with the Package A kit equipping the GT-R NISMO with carbon intercooler piping, a new ECM and TCM and a dedicated front and rear limited-slip differential. It’s worth noting that the Package B kit also includes the new ECM and TCM.

The biggest difference between the two packages comes on the inside, where Package A removes the rear seat and adds a carbon rear bulkhead. In front, the factory seats are replaced with Recaro bucket race seats with a carbon shell. Available options for both packages include a carbon fiber hood gurney and a six-point harness from Willans.

Evo and their rounding errors. How does 1:02.03 round to 1:02.1? See 31:59.

That timer with the 1:02.03 is just a stopwatch they put on screen for demonstration... proper time (1:02.1) came from the accurate Vbox Laptimer datarecorder.

So why not just use the VBox timer on the screen then?

The problem with that track is that there are lots of tramac'd run-off strips and corners to cut, so times depend on how much of the run-off you use and how many corners you cut. I noted some downed cones.

Looks like way too much understeer for the NSX in the corners. Front tires were squealing the whole time as the driver was trying to get the front to tuck in.
