That I didn't know....I suppose the marketing department is stretching the truth a little too far.Well, there was no other car in the SP8T class so of course, it won its class.![]()
When I mention Nissan's participation in the race, I meant they are constantly gathering data and improving their car so it shouldn't be too surprising to see the time achieved by the Nismo version.Overall, if you consider the overall SP8 class (which includes SP8T and N/A breakdown), Gazoo Lexus LFA won it overall consistently posting faster laps in every lap and placed ahead by 20 something spots.
No one can argue against Nissan being a road car primarily focused on great numbers, but endurance racing is altogether a different beast.
