Should thus not always believe the sh!t we're fed.

I believe every word this Japanese stated, for he created the proof of his work and words

The weight BS is made factually overrated by a Nissan super car, respect to a legend that is the one and only GT-R

^Respectfully disagree. Yes, if your criteria is just acceleration numbers or even lap times, sure, modern technology and power can make up for weight. But if you are more into the sublime, touchy, feely stuff driving involves, weight is a killer. This is from someone who loved/wanted/seriously considered a GTR... till I had one for a weekend. I even walked away from that weekend very impressed. But I found myself never looking for one in the classifieds or longing for one again.
