I love the cockpit & the interior. It reminds me if raw & simple Golf Mk1 cockpit & interior. Super!
Exterior is unoffensive but sharp enough. Notorious Golf evolution.

I would like to see Cross Golf - at least in CrossWagen variant. I like the comfort & dynamics of the Golf (vs T-Roc) but would like a bit higher siting position, AWD & a bit higher sitting position. Yet not in an SAV variant.

It looks great in this live video, I think the new front is quite distinctive. Quite a departure from previous Golfs. Rear looks sharp, I like the shoulder line that runs from the front through the door handles then to the back of the car.

GTI TCR With 213 KW ( Will Replace The Performance Package Trim )
GTD With 145 KW Or 150 KW
R With 239 KW Or 245 KW

I disagree. The quality of the Mazda 3 is worlds apart from the quality of the Fiat Tipo.

Maybe it will grow on me eventually, but I'm not sure about the R-Line / GTE front bumper: as usual there are gloss black plastic trim pieces, as usual the whole air intake looks bigger, just as it should, however I'm not convinced that this bumper ultimately looks sportier than the regular bumper. It gives me soft, swirly, dizzy vibes rather than a solid, raw, sporty feel

Ah, I didn't notice the light bar running through the "grille". Most unobservant of me.

That's a cool and distinctive feature. It lights up that sad face. What an oxymoron.

Nice history line of all the models. The Golf 8 has a different shaped rear quarter light window, a bit BMW hoffmeister in my opinion.

The front of the Golf 8 is the biggest styling change to this model since Golf 2 to Golf 3:

Golf 8 meets Golf 1

Lighter interior colour looks much better

Full interior blood red lighting
