Not in the states (the biggest market for BMW M)
Agreed, particularly when Trump is elected. It's more an EU thing. And they're not going to make an E63 just for the US

They'll probably take the E53 and just chuck the V8 in it.Agreed, particularly when Trump is elected. It's more an EU thing. And they're not going to make an E63 just for the US
Fantasy land really but a nice thought I guess
FYI, the M3 is more expensive than an M5 over here.
DOA and then some if they would be crazy enough to do that.
Ferrari money for a taxi? I think not.
Ola has abandoned the Taxi market.
Dufuq...how is an M3 more expensive than an M5?
Its a Nederland's thing right?Yeah I don't see them anymore. Then again, the W214 altogether is very rare over here.
ICE vs. Hybrid and tax reasons. Same reason why the W124 is rare.
It seems to be coming to US at a good price. It is $31525 cheaper than the new M5.The 2025 Mercedes-AMG E53 sedan starts at $89,150, which is $6700 more than its predecessor.
Mercedes has released pricing for the AMG version of its redesigned E-class sedan. After skipping the 2024 model year while the Benz-branded lineup transitioned to the new W214 generation, the 2025 Mercedes-AMG E53 returns with a plug-in-hybrid powertrain and a $89,150 starting price—$6700 more expensive than its predecessor.
- The E53's higher-spec Exclusive and Pinnacle trims start at $91,600 and $93,300, respectively.
 - The sports sedan has a new plug-in-hybrid turb0-six powertrain with up to 604 horsepower and an EPA-rated driving range of 42 miles.

All the Germans underrate their 0-60 figures. It'll be closer to 3.5 I reckon. Still slower than an M5.E53 and M5 don't even seem like comparable cars to me, E53 is down almost 200 lb-ft of torque, and I doubt it will be any lighter considering it has an even bigger battery pack. Plus it's a 6 cylinder vs a 8. I measured 0-60 in 3.9 in my 540i G30 with a $350 Dinan tune (non warranty voiding) which is the exact figure they are reporting for this.
As per BMW and Mercedes German websites, the E53 tips the scales at 2390kg and the M5 is 120kg heavier at 2510kg. The Mercedes has a slightly larger battery at 21.22kWh compared to 18.6kWh and has a longer Electric range of 99km compared to 69km in the BMW. It also allows DC charging of 60kw but the BMW is only allowed to charge by 11kW AC.E53 and M5 don't even seem like comparable cars to me, E53 is down almost 200 lb-ft of torque, and I doubt it will be any lighter considering it has an even bigger battery pack. This is what I call a sports luxury sedan. Certainly my choice of car, it is still very elegant and very good-looking but has the right touch of aggressiveness added in without being OTT like the new M5.
So is the C63.. saw one on the road last weekend.. looks the part.. too bad for that 4 pot. Also did not sound anything spectacular. That car too is begging for a proper V8…
It's the best looking E since the W211 IMO, the E53 is particularly gorgeous.
