The E53 looks fantastic in black with matching black wheels. This car is my favorite new E-class model, the outside design is awesome like the W213 E63S with its flared front wheel arches and wheels filling the wheel arches perfectly.
God the side profile of this car is perfect. The E53 looks fantastic in black with matching black wheels. This car is my favorite new E-class model, the outside design is awesome like the W213 E63S with its flared front wheel arches and wheels filling the wheel arches perfectly.
I like the interior but it is disappointing in so many ways, the cost-cutting in this car is so obvious and really annoys me. In a top-of-the-range model, why don't they have Alcantara headlining and cover those F-ken ugly thin plastic hard sun visors in Alcantara or MB-Tex?? The steering wheel boss also can be covered in leather and have stitching. The door card leather trim could have some patterns, it really looks so boring and cheap in plain material. The shiny black plastic trim surrounding the door handle and electric seat switch could be also carbon fiber.
The interior doesn't look special enough compared to a standard E200 AMG interior. The only difference I can see is the carbon fibre trim, the carbon fiber and alcantara on the steering wheel and the sports front seats. The rear seats look the same, door trim has no difference.
Ok enough of my bitching about the interior, this has to be the party pic for this car with its beautiful profile and short overhangs with flared front arches.

The US journalists from different publications have praised the new E and given it class leading status, such as Car and Driver, Motortrend and Road and Track and some online US and Canadian YouTubers. And the praise keeps coming for the new E:
Mercedes-Benz could not have nailed a 4 door sedans exterior design more proficiently:

In my eyes, an embodiment of automotive design perfection. Hopefully, what is witnessed here will find its way into future M-B sedans. Regardless of whether they be ICE/Hybrids or BEVs.
