I must say I like the design. More than like it… just short of love it. It looks like a German Rolls Royce. The best trim is the M Sport PHEV version, design wise.

They have nailed the interior. The screens are way better than what the S Class ended up with, and that is ironic given that it is the design that the last S had.

And what a radically simple and winning concept to have your full EV share the same body as the regular car!!! It cannot be overstated how Mercedes missed the boat here. It has to convince buyers to pay more for a jelly bean car.
It does look quite sophisticated, yes.

Hey! What’s that second pic? That bumper is totally different from both the standard and the M ones.

So you have the "M bumper" right now, the i7 front and that's it? Regular bumper is the same as the i7 one? No normal bumper for like a 740i regular non M ICE?

looks very poor in this photo.

Yeah I mean, you do reallise it's with downright horrible filters in ultra low quality, right?

So conceptual.

First interesting BMW since Bangle.
Finally something interesting under Van Hooydonck after his own design E65!

Looks like a photoshop

Appears to be a photoshop based on this image.

As opposed to many others, I very much prefer the i7 fascia. The "M" package front end is a bit much methinks.

I noted the RR vibe very early on, glad someone else is seeing it as well.

I love the front from a "head-on" perspective. Any other angle makes me think I've got to see it in real life, and that I think it's going to be very much spec sensitive.

I completely understand why somebody would look at the exterior from the photos and say they think it's "fantastic". I also completely understand why a different person would look at the same photos and think it's looks awful. It's that kind of car.

What I truly do not understand, however, is the love for the interior. I think it's terrible.

The E32 will always be my favorite 7-Series. That 1988 V12 750iL was just untouchable.

With all these evolutions, they always pick the G11 and the G11 facelift, while all the others are just the regular model OR the facelift.
I hate that.

The Top view looks much nicer

The more I see the rear it looks very generic and Korean to me and way to tall for a sedan

Better Korean than like a pathetic A class wannabe rear.
I really have to start including these horrible Mercedes models here when compared to this 7er. The trolls are relentless. No doubt your comment will garner the usual likes and agrees from the resident BMW haters like @kiki voinea who come here with the sole reason to troll with likes and agrees towards negativity.

Also, all these "way too tall" comments also make me roll my eyes. This world is filled with huge crossovers, all raised and big. A modern 21st century sedan ought to look like that, or there will be no sedan left in a couple of years! It looks big, imposing and royal for a 7er, a true flagship that will be noticed in this SUV crazed world....... unlike the S class which looks like an A class and is the size of a C class compared to all these SUV models and huge crossovers.
