The BMW G70 is the seventh generation of the BMW 7 Series. Model codes: G70 (short-wheelbase), G71 (long-wheelbase), and G73 (high-security). It has an electric variant, the BMW i7, along with Inline 6 740i and V8 760i models. Predecessor: BMW G11. Production: July 2022-

That's what I really like about the 7ers interior, that cloth/cashmere wool option. What I like less about it, that it comes in a mandatory package which sets you back for a mere € 28.610.
Seems a big thing for luxury car manufacturers to introduce fabric as a luxury material but also to offer a Vegan alternative to Leather.
The New Range Rover offers A Fabric option too.

Yes. I even like the checked pattern you used to get on E30’s and 190’s. That stuff was hard wearing and even lasts to today.

I would take a velours option in an eye blink, if it was available. Remember those W116 and W126 with velours? Gorgeous.

Just looking at velours gives me shivers. I can't touch that stuff. Horrible.
I'm all for leather replacements BTW. Leather is outdated as F, and doesn't belong in a modern car and especially EV IMO
