The BMW G70 is the seventh generation of the BMW 7 Series. Model codes: G70 (short-wheelbase), G71 (long-wheelbase), and G73 (high-security). It has an electric variant, the BMW i7, along with Inline 6 740i and V8 760i models. Predecessor: BMW G11. Production: July 2022-

Now that things have calmed down, I can explain my views on the 7 series.

1. Exterior design: Different but not beautiful. It doesn't look like a high-end car. Even BMW fans force themselves to love this design. It's very polarizing. Too ambitious for this class and that's not good. If they want to sell well, they need a style that everyone can love. The S-class achieves this. Noble, powerful and stylish.

2.Interior design : I like this place. There are color plays and glitters that we are familiar with from Mercedes. The boringness of its predecessor is absent here. Extremely modern and sparkly. However, it does not shed light on the future. It just seems to have caught up with the times. Cost concerns are evident in material selection. There are no wooden materials in the door interiors and no crystal ambient lighting strips on the rear doors. An attempt was made to add movement with the metallic speaker cover. The rear seats don't offer as much variety as an S-class. There is no single seat option.

3. Body, Engines: The engines of its predecessor continue. Although the 6-cylinder petrol unit has received extensive updates, the engine range of its rival S-class is wider and more powerful. Options for Europe are very limited. The performance of the vehicle has decreased and its weight has increased by 200 kg. Elements of this type are noticeable in a new BMW. The electric i7 does not have any significant advantages over its closest competitor, the EQS, apart from the comfort in the back seat. It was supposed to make a difference in design, but it was not a design that everyone could love.

4. Comfort, Technology: The biggest disappointment occurred here. Many characteristic features of its predecessor are gone. For example, there is no carbon core and laser headlight. w223 S class brought many innovations. I'm looking for a feature this tool can put on top of it, but it doesn't exist. They did not show any innovations other than the ridiculous display that they hung from the ceiling for Chinese customers.

To sum up, the groundbreaking spirit of the E65 generation is unfortunately absent in this car. It does not shed light on the future. It is a car in its class that has been refreshed to keep up with the present, but not much more than that.

I'm pretty sure Biff Tannen crashed into the back of this post sometime in 1955.

Please, you got the times mixed up, KIA contracted former BMW designers many years ago, Hyundai their engineers.
KIA decided to follow the general philosophical lines of BMW design since the CS concept came out, check and you will see those rear and front lights among many other things, this has been talked about 1,000 times here every time someone gives credit to the that they copy
BMW doesn't care what KIA does.

KIA does, since it is doing very well copying the details of the sedans, but not the SUVs, it is natural that it seems familiar to you, but you cannot think that BMW copies KIA or anyone else. It's not serious think like that, as it is a brand that sets the course in design like AUDI which is generally copied by Hyundai sedans

Oki all I am saying was when I saw this I was reminded of the 7 … Not saying BMW copied Kia or anything was just responding to Martimbo

In some comments the subject of the imposing presence is mentioned, when I saw the CS concept, I felt the same thing that it was a step above the 7 series, beyond that it was magnificent, it immediately made it clear that you could stop a Lambo next to it and doubt which of the two it was more spectacular.
Then it was translated into the 6 grand coupe that without detriment to its beauty was not a step higher than the 7

Without wanting to compare those with this, the greatest impression that the new one gives me is precisely that, that it could carry a "9" without flinching, I hope to see it turning a corner to my amazement as soon as possible

The guy basically loves everything MB does and thinks it is much better than every other product competitors offer.

Difficult not to get the message after so many repetition/trolling.
I told the truth. G70 is a fiasco

Two tone colour combo irl pictures, is it a yes or a no for you!

Nice pic, stately, with the two tones they look very good, better in the wild than in the studio photos, although I don't know if it's my thing in this car,
