@leylandi why don't you just piss off with all that S class nonsense here?
Make a thread about 7er vs S class if you want to compare them.

To all BMW fans: let the MB boys have their hour of troll time and ignore please.
Why does it bother you so much when I share information? Trolling is your specialty.

You share it in the wrong thread, why is this difficult to understand? If I want to learn about the extremely advanced S class, I go to the S class section.

There is a section called Internal Combustion, where you can live your fantasy and do your thing. Nobody is going to care if you call the S class the tech monster and the 7er MS DOS over there.

Why is it okay when @dalab and many members compare? I answered them too. What's the problem here? you are looking for trouble

Nobody should do it. Everyone does from time to time which is okay I guess, but you do it all the time every day. This thread is not about any other car but the BMW 7er.

And I really do like your input here for the rest, you always have a lot of new info.

Try to park it in the underground parking lot of the mall or anywhere else in the city. It's not only the lenght that is important, the monoevrability is even more so.

Yeah, we'll see about that when comparisons come up. I really do wonder wether the 7er is more dynamic than the S class or not. Visuals say no lol

I don't think dynamics matter here. The new 7er is all about comfort and it looks like it would be good at it.

Agreed. In the grand scheme of things the difference in driving dynamics between the 7 and S will be negligible.

Similarly the Bentyga is more agile-ish yet some prefer the Range Rover because what they want from a big luxury SUV is comfort, ease or status.

Do you have a driving licence? This turning radius is a nightmare in a city driving. It's an absolute deal braker. I had in the past an E38 and later an E65. The difference in their turning radius was big enough to put me off of the E65. It was already imposible to manoeuvre.
I think you just dont know how to park ?
ps i have a DL

Is that a little camera in the BMW logo at 15 sec.? Anyone know, what it’s for? I hope it’s not the rear view parking camera, because placed like this, it’ll get dirty in no time and as a driver you don’t see much anymore.

There a washing nozzle hidden in the badge. Just like in iX: ? (y)

I didn't move a hair when I saw it for the first time, I felt that I defended (but not much), the indefensible, a very brief evolution of its predecessor, where the most avant garde was the gesture control, is the design beautiful? it can be, but forgettable, only the LCI saved it

I don't care. In terms of design, the G12 totally annihilates the G70. Even FL G12 looks way better than the G70.

Don't get confused, I know exactly what I'm talking about, that's why I wrote "we should read the list" (of innovations), because it didn't interest me much and this time with the 31 screen, the small screens on the armrests seem to have overwhelmed the buyers, when I have time I will list what seems new to me and why.

You don't read between the lines, the soft close that seems like magic to new youtubers, was optional equipment on the W140! Now they think that Huyndai invented it for the Genesis, it's a sample of what I'm saying, but everyone will remember who put the first usable screen in the rear seat, that the S-Class recognizes me when I have to look back because I am a bad driver is something that they will see and use when they buy it, but it will not be a break point in the purchase decision, the rear big screen yes, it will be.

This 7 is more on the side of design and making engineering work, constant acceleration, etc, etc. (like the iX) which they already tested against the EQS and proved to be better "EV", in this case it is not about the gimmicks (although it has them), but about the most perfect experience possible.
All this is yet to be confirmed in the tests
Do they test the S-Klasse against the i7 though?

Out of curiosity (and off-topic), is there a thread where the dedicated fan man/women of the forum share their stories behind their invested attachment to one brand or another? I know some own one brand or the other, ergo the fandom. But I also know most people here switch from one brand to the next from generation to generation. I've been monitoring this forum for some time and I haven't come across such a thread.

Please feel free to start one.

I don't know if they will, I guess so, after comparing it with the EQS, they will go for the S, and obviously the 7 ICE against the S, although it's rare like when today they compare a diesel against a gasoline one, to see what differential advantages have

Why are Camouflaged 7-series still in the run when the model was revealed a month ago, either i am stupid or BMW is trying a new model

Probably still Testing autonomous technology as well as the M70 and RWD models.
They still test right up until launch. The good news is the BMW fleet which run these cars for internal perspective before production and launch have started to arrive in Munich for evaluation.

What do you mean for evaluation?

Some prefer the Range Rover because it's much cheaper, but really lets not fool around, the Bentley is better at everything (except looks). The Germans make far better cars than what JLR ever will. A Bentayga offers more comfort, more luxury, better materials and of course way more status than a Range.. what it doesn't offer is a proper nice design though, which is a shame. Bentayga still looks like a modded Touareg.
