Update: Noises since this weekend almost contantly. Visiting Servicecenter next wednesday. Noises are driving me crazy and I'm seriously considering selling my car. If there's anything I can't stand, it is these kind of noises in a car in this price segment.
Anyone else suffering the same experience? Have any of you Mercedes-Benz-related guys heard of this problem with W222? I know there's a quality issue with interior of A-/CLA/GLA-Klasse.

You are true, these type of noises drive us crazy especially in a class which we don't expect to hear. But the fact is that during all my recent premium segment tests conducted in Indian roads, where the surface of the roads are not that smooth in some places, I've noticed such creepy noises on all the cars in this over even above segment which include new Flying Spur. On the same stretch of road on a regular test location I felt the S-class is the quietest of all, 7er, A8, XJ & BFS.

My former S 350 Blue Efficiency (2009-2011) driven for more than 200.000 kilometres) didn't make a noise even when driving through the worst potholes. And now this!
It's a small consolation that other cars in the segment make noises as well, but from a Benz I expect cocoonlike tranquility.

You are absolutely correct, from Mercedes especially for S-class we do expect the best in all class build quality. My first experience of new S-class was S500 and S500 Plug-in Hybrid from IAA 2013 venue, and the path was paved with small rubble stone, even there it was very quite. Then I had the first expensive drive at Dubai in S500 Edition 1 and it was mind blowing with absolute pin drop silence. In India only I heard a small creepy sound on bad stretch of road.

Ok, the first two cars I drove was less than 2000 - 2500 km. In India S500 was clocked more than 10,000 and S350 CDI (no bluetec in India) was 6-7000km

I sold my 2014. My 2015 will definitely have MBC. I won't make that same mistake twice.

I would say so. I got 6 digits on the sale. It was a monster car, built almost perfectly. I'm keeping all the specs the same with the addition of MBC....and now it'll be truly perfect.

Awesome, your new car will come with the 9G tronic gearbox and the touch sensitive pad too right? When will you take delivery?

I assume so? Best to check with your dealer? Surely MB will have this sorted by now, even some E-classes are getting the 9G as standard.

The 2015 does not have the 9G yet, no S-Classes do. Only the 2015 CLS550 RWD model has the 9G in the U.S.
