I like the new line up the S450 and S500 with super hitech and powerful I6 engines. I think the S500 will be not much slower than the S560 with vastly better consumption.

Looking real good in these IRL pics..after looking at the frantic new A8, it is somewhat refreshing to these eyes to see the regal S Class with its effortless style..

These new ones reminded me of some offered on the Bentley Mulsanne.

Those Mulsanne wheels were the first thing to pop in my head when I saw those wheels on the S-Class.

Anthracite Blue Metallic

Looks gray most of the time, but the blue pops out with sunlight or a detail.

Are there any pictures of the Maybach in Mocha Black?

Anthracite Blue and Mocha Black are my favourite colours for the S class.

I think it is just called the AMG line now, how I miss the days of having the classic grill with the AMG bumpers.

I have to date refrained from commenting on the facelift S-class. I hold the S in such high esteem I wanted to give myself the appropriate time to digest it. I knew my initial reaction would be a bit averse as I viewed the W222 as such a masterfully executed design and questioned how dare they mess with the beautiful front end of the vehicle half way through it's life cycle. It's an S-class after all!

But alas to say I am now absolutely smitten with the exterior updates for the most part. The headlights are a perfect fusion of the W140 and Pre-FL W222 and the car just appears even more expensive and stately than before. The new alloy wheels a wonderful and and the rest of the vehilce remains as elegant and graceful as ever.

For the absolute expression of automotive elegance in this class the likes of the BMW 7-series and Audi A8 need to step aside. IMO it is still the prettiest and at the same time most prestigious looking vehicle in it's class despite the competitions best efforts.

How could you not love this! Sublime.
