GLS [Official] Mercedes-Benz GLS (X167)

The Mercedes-Benz GLS, formerly Mercedes-Benz GL-Class, is a full-size luxury crossover SUV produced by Mercedes-Benz since 2006. The GLS is considered the flagship of the marque's SUV lineup, although the body-on-frame G-Class (originally intended for military off-roading but also offered in luxurious trims) is more expensive and has been in production longer.

In the carwow video posted today I found out that absolutely all the chrome parts on the front are actually plastic, all this Maybach stuff is just a shameful scam

Just when you thought the stupidity couldn’t get any worse.

You don't know how to speak normally?, do you always have to insult? Shouldn't or could a grille down on the bumper be metal like it is on the Bentley or the RR? who are the stupid ones?

If it is chromed on one of the most expensive cars that exist in its line, it should be specially trimmed.

How unbearable this guy is

I can confirm the Bentley Flying Spur has chromed ABS plastic trim in the lower grille. My grandmother used to own one. She hit a raccoon and I helped her get it repaired. I removed the trim before taking it to the body shop since it was dragging on the ground and it was 100% plastic.

Thanks for the clarification, then there are two brands that scam with fake bling bling and they shouldn't, no wonder they are so far from RR that it is pure metal grill.
Matt Watson in the video also caught his attention and he took it as a joke

It's plastic because it needs to be plastic for pedestrian safety as is a legal requirement.
Why is it chromed? Because it looks nicer that way?

Does it need to be any more complicated than that? They can't have real chrome, so they make do with chromed plastic.

It's not that complicated.

The RR one is pure metal, there are reasons for lowering the price too, it's not that complicated, Btw, you made a mistake with your speech in the other thread and I haven't seen you rectify it

Rot you f#cking idiot
You've both gotten multiple warnings. We've spent way too much time moving posts to the Fight Club, and yet you both act as if you are going through puberty. This is not acceptable and has to stop now.

@dalab has won a 2 weeks ban
@Merc1 due to less offensive words, is one step back, with an infraction. Next up, a ticket to meet dalab

Enough is enough. May this also serve as a warning to everyone.
