Coming back today, I've decided I like the exterior a lot. I can't help but still think they should've made the interior trim more special though. I have to say I like the execution of the GLS63 better.

It looks much better than the normal GLS. The front Maybach chrome grill makes a big difference and makes this a very imposing vehicle. The extra chrome trim adds class and those multi spoke wheels look fantastic. Interior has more of a wow factor although I am not a big fan of the mocha chocolate brown colour of the leather. I would have preferred they use a dark navy blue with the cream 2 tone effect but it must be one of the most comfortable cars to lounge in that gorgeous back seat.

We knew that and Mercedes-Benz executives have said so. They're proud of the profit they've made off this strategy vs. the prior one. It's the enthusiasts wanting more and hoping these concepts come to life.

The front chrome parts (grill, air ducts mesh, underbody protection) are a complete mess. None of them flows with the others.

Especially that mesh. It looks so out of place on this car. It's a far cry from the Absolutely beautiful S Class Maybach.
