E-Class (W213) [Official] Mercedes-Benz E-Class W213

The W213 Mercedes-Benz E-Class is the fifth generation of the Mercedes-Benz E-Class, sold from 2016 as a 2017 model. It succeeded the W212/S212 E-Class models. The coupe/convertible models share the same platform as the sedan/wagon, in contrast to the previous generation. The high-performance Mercedes-AMG E63 and E63S versions of the W213 have been available as well from 2016 (as a 2017 model), and these are the only versions with V8 engines.

The designo interior looks fantastic. The differences between E-klasse designo and S-Klasse exclusive-package however are quite noticable and larger than I thought. This is a good thing, because as a S-Klasse owner you see where the extra money has gone to: a even more luxurious interior. See for instance the leather piping on dashboard and upper part of the doors, the complete leather upper- and under part of the dashboard, the complete leather middel armrest etc.

It's god NFC as well. How brilliant and perfect of my Samsung S6 Edge+. A bonus would be if that's 10Watt 2.4a USB port.

A pic from Zuffenhausen, the other part of Stuttgart. :)

On the left an E 500 and on the right a 500 E with Porsche engine. They might appear in an upcoming movie, according to some rumors. :)

Imagine what it would be like, cruising in a W213 with such a I6 diesel under the bonnet. Must feel like sailing in your own personal battleship... I love it allready.

DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAMN! That just looks good. Loving this particular woodtrim and choco leather combo. I bet dark blue leather with white piping with this wood trim would look fantastic.

The interior of the E is great but the center console from the C seems to be one design flaw.
The centerpiece is really designed as a stand alone item for woods/ metal etc, because C does not have elsewhere on the dash. The E has this large slab of wood on the dash that simply conflicts with that Centerpiece from the C. It might have been better if the new E featured a console pod for the center buttons like the S coupe. With this design move the central (wood) panel could have been smaller and would not have looked as vulgar for different veneers.

Hopefully between NYC and Beijing we will see the C63 Cabrio, GLC Coupe and the Long E-Class. Asking for the "43" versions of the E and GLC might be asking for too much lol.

Yeah, BMW has had that since the E60.
Don't know what you're talking about. I'm talking about a I6 diesel with 350-380 ps and > 750 Nm torque. Not about a E60/535d with max 286 ps and only 560 Nm torque. Even the current MB 350d has already 620 Nm torque.

Don't know what you're talking about.

Try harder. I was talking about powerful I6 diesels in general, not to mention that 286 hp in a relatively light car was as powerful as one could get back in the day. An MB V8 gasoline had 306 hp back then.

But yeah, back on topic, an E500d sounds wonderful. Bring it on!
