3 Series (E90) [Official] BMW E92 Coupé/E93 Cabriolet 3-Series Facelift

The interior combo (pics posted by PanterroR, thanx) looks stunning! In it's simplicity, good materials and excellent layout...a very good interior/cabin she has!:)

Glad to see I'm not the only one that likes the LCI. Makes my wifes 335i convert look dated, which in my opinion, signifies a quality facelift.

I don't agree. :D

The E60 looks dated compared to the F10, but it's not because of the design. It's just that everybody knows the F10 is the more recent model.

What about the shocking mistake of having the open tray in front of the gear selector? This used to have a lid on and to me, it now looks like it's broken off.

And can I just say, I'm very proud of Klier. I know how much of an emotional strain it is for him to criticise a BMW, so for him to say the things he said must have taken guts. Remember this date guys. This event will come around less often than Haley's Comet.

Not related to the M Sport Package but the German BMW site has also one video showing the Coupé.

No moustache! Perfect, since it made me worried. Weird how that other pic makes it look like it has one!

Yes, since klier, Osna, ree etc don't like the LCI styling efforts, then it's a fail for BMW. A fail of epic proportions. :D:eusa_doh:

That was in the beginning, but I always have to get used to a new BMW. After these side by side shots, I must say that I like the LCI BETTER than the pre LCI. Everything other than the bigger overhang is better now, and the bigger overhang makes the front bumper stand out more (more 3D), so even that isn't too bad..

Thumbs up here. It is still the hottest coupé in it's class, with the A5 second and E coupé distant third.

LOL! Thanks :D But it has changed already, and I'm one day later quite fond of the LCI already.

I agree with the broken off lid of the ash tray. That's very weird. They got rid of it on the 1er as well. It will save them 20 cents, but it does make the interior less neat. Stupid move.

Lol, how can anyone bitch about this FL after seeing these videos, especially the 1st one...;)

Everything looks just p-e-r-f-e-c-t! :usa7uh:

:t-cheers:

It probably has to grow on people.

The music in the first video is f-ed up imo. This is not the 1er or X1....Not a fan of the music in the second vid either, but it bends my toes less

What about the shocking mistake of having the open tray in front of the gear selector ?
I didn't even notice it but yeah it really is quite of a mistake, it's bad taste and it removes some of the cosy atmosphere.

This lid comes with option code 441 - smoker's package. Standard car has this open tray.

I agree that it looks horrible without the smoker's package:)

Nice... the M-pack would make the FL work... removes the bland front skirt and almost makes you forget the weaker front lights.

Yeah, I have to agree, that it looks better in these vids…but still not a fan of it. Missing the old aggressive face of the 3-Coupé!! Which make it very elegant and dynamic…

As said earlier: the car looks classier & beefier now. More substantial.

Especially when put beside very beefy A5 & E-coupe. Pre-LCI looks a bit skinny & poor compared to these two rivals. LCI models on the other hand are much more upscale & a bit more mighty looking and so more on par with the rivals in the looks department.

IMO a good job by BMW design team. And the film / photography team as well - great visuals this time. Far better lighting than before.

Btw, what's with the background music in the promo music? Vocals? C'mon. It's a promo movie, not an ad - both movies are great as visuals but the music including vocals sounds very weird, and distracting.
Using pure instrumental (electronic) music sounds much better. Perhaps vocals are OK when it comes to 1er or some other funkier BMW, but nor when it comes to 3er & above models.

I agree it looks odd guys, but I have a 335i coupe and I find the lack of storage space a huge mission. Maybe they got complaints? Even having to pull out the side storge binnacles is tedious every time I want to put my wallet somewhere. The open ashtray would now be able to serve as a storage spot for my cellphone....
