8 Series (G15) [Official] BMW 8 Series Cabriolet (G14)

The second-generation of the BMW 8 Series consists of the G14 (convertible version), G15 (two-door coupe version) grand tourers, and G16 (four-door "Gran Coupe" sedan version) executive cars (E). The G14/G15/G16 generation has been in production since 2018, and is often collectively referred to as the G15. It replaced the F06/F12/F13 6 Series lineup. Production: 2018-

The 8 series coupec makes a beautiful convertible, much better achieved and more attractive than the previous two generations of the 6 series, perfection.
Agreed, my biggest question is will they be able to make the 8GC better looking than the stunning 6GC.

That's the million dollar question.
With what I've seen so far, I think the 8 GC will capture the magic of the 6 GC.

I hope it's better looking but wll be a miracle.

The 8 GC will be one of the sexiest cars on the road with its own attributes and personality, also knowing in advance that the change it will not be evolutionary but radical

They’ve been able to surpass the 6er coupe and vert let’s hope they’ll do it with the 8GC. The 6GC as old as it is , still the best looking sedan.

Very interesting opinions and comments from normal people, fans and owners of R8 and AMG, totally amazed with the 8 cabriolet
I also think that it is the first video in which someone tests it thoroughly and in this way.
It's worth seeing until the end.

Driving The M850i Cabrio in Portugal and added bonus the 840d Cabrio. First interaction with the non-M Sport Packet model relating to the original concept.

will they release some images of the coupe and the convertible without the m-sport package? Went to 5 dealerships here in switzerland, none of them have a car with the standard kit. X5 only in m-sport, 8 series only in m-sport and even the new 3 series only in m-sport. i find that the m-sport packages are getting "overdone" more and more. not my taste really :(

Dealers stock what the majority want and if I remember correctly, 80% of 3-Series in the UK are M-Sport.

This can be a problem if you want something different which most likely means factory ordering. When I bought my X3 it was nearly impossible to find an X-Line trim. Every dealer just wanted to shoe horn me into an M-Sport with 21 inch alloys that are unsuitable for UK roads.

It's my greatest pet peeve with BMW. They practically force you into an M-Sport and more often than not its dealer stock that they've pre-specced based on idiotic consumer patterns. Try finding an M-Sport 320d with Sport Auto and adaptive dampers on the floor. Forget it. All you end up with is a bog-standard auto with stiff suspension that's mostly unpleasant to drive on anything but the best tarmac. Last I checked a 3 Series was a businessman's car - not a wannabe boy racer.

Sportline in the 3er is the sweet spot for daily use; put in Sport Auto on 18" wheels and you'll have a fine car for business mileage.
