8 Series (G15) [Official] BMW 8 Series Cabriolet (G14)


The second-generation of the BMW 8 Series consists of the G14 (convertible version), G15 (two-door coupe version) grand tourers, and G16 (four-door "Gran Coupe" sedan version) executive cars (E). The G14/G15/G16 generation has been in production since 2018, and is often collectively referred to as the G15. It replaced the F06/F12/F13 6 Series lineup. Production: 2018-

The way that top opens is not even remotely new. The last generation Audi A5, for example, opens the same way. And the Buick Cascada/Opel cabriolet equivalent.

Surprisingly roomy In the back seat I can place my FreyGeist(wheels up)with another bike folded in the boot.

Not sure how that was related to my convo with dalab, but yes the 8 series does have a good degree of useable space. It’s not a small car though so I’m not sure if that can be counted as an achievement. Talk about the 4-series cab and I’ll change my tune. Looking forward to that one.

I chose it over Barcelona Blue and other colours in honour of Klier's Black Sapphire E63 from 2004 I think the same or similar interior colour also?

Anno 64 is where us old timers go. With a diverse range of music. Punk,German Punk,euro-synth pop,rock and Euro rock and old school techno.:D
 
My wife and I have been in Potsdam since Thursday afternoon. We love the city and visit it often. Big city festival this evening with many live bands, artists displaying their crafts, food and drink etc. Should be good fun. We'll most certainly have a beer or two at the "Hafthorn" where an allegedly very good soul & funk band will be performing. Some "gettin' down" may be in order.

Mine had the tan interior, but for the rest it's very similar yeah :D Your interior color is more modern and likely something I'd choose now too.

Just happen to see the 8-Series cabrio in the metal just moments ago. Nice looking car.
The debut on these new cars must be global. Back in the day the delay was like months later.
