7 Series (G11/G12) [Official] BMW 7 Series (G11/12)

The G11/G12 is the sixth generation of the BMW 7 Series, produced from 2015 to 2022. Consists of the BMW G11 (short-wheelbase version) and BMW G12 (long-wheelbase version) luxury saloons, collectively referred to as the G11.
One of the best interior features of the 7-Series are the rear headrest cushions. They make the riding experience heavily. It baffles me why they are not an option of every single BMW.
Last week I had a tough week and “hired” a student to drive me and my car to the office. One of the very rare occasions I wasn’t driving myself. Those headrest cushions.... heavenly indeed.

BMW stops sales of the 7er petrol versions in Europe for 9 months from may on. Reason is the EU6c norm: to comply to that norm BMW must build a particlefilter into the engine. Same goes for the M550i xDrive and a few other types.

Am I understanding this correctly? They are going to only sell diesels here in Europe for the remainder of the year?

LOL, what a mess  Heads should roll! In fact, it may be an idea to fire the whole of the management, because it's becoming a giant cluster*ck as far as I can see it.

Things must be bad at BMW if they're forgetting to paint the cars before sending them to motorshows.

Remind me of semi-wet concrete. Not a fan.

YUCK. They should have left this crap for Audi.

Jesus... that 80's Lada-Grey should be forbidden by law.

True. These muddy/gloomy paint jobs look ace on Audis.

The W222 started this trend of heavenly rear headrests? Or was it BMW in the previous 7?

It's the Evil Galactic Empire who have moved the goalposts. The 7er compiled to previous EU legislation until they changed it.
Some conspiracy theorists reckon it's because BMW,Mercedes-Benz,Siemens etc are investing in countries like Poland,Hungary and Britain. Instead of Germany.
Countries that do not comply and bend over to the EU's will.

Saw this V12 beast earlier - anyone know the colour?

I was riding next to a fully spec'd 750i today, gorgeous car with the M sport and the right wheels. S-Class and 7-Series for me, A8 is FWD German Buick (in looks).

This car is a sales failure for BMW. Looking forward to the LCI - I think it will be a significant improvement.
