Yes, unfortunately. Let's hope Piano Lacquer goes out of style in 2019. It was cool in the late 2000's, now every other car has it, whether real or fake.

With all the attention on the LCI take a moment of this current 740Le. Which will be replaced with a 745Le.

It did loose a lot of it’s sleekness and elegance with the LCI. It gained on imposing qualities.
I think if I had to buy one now, I’d prefer the pre LCI understated, not so very exciting but well designed, big sports sedan look.

The 740d weighs a whopping 2180 kilograms. It's as heavy as a 4x4 diesel crew-cab pickup.
