It's been almost 5 months and I can assure you there is no flaw in fact all I wish is the wireless phone charging was located there instead of the arm rest.

Had a long drive at night it's going to be so hard to drive a Non Laser headlamp equipped car now unless there is anything better

With that much torque (800Nm) I would think it's just as effective, it'll give the traction control less messing about to do, and it'd likely have to shift almost straight away anyway.

Many automatic gearboxes start from 2nd gear for a smoother start.
Yes. Mine too. But in S mode it starts from 1st gear.

It sometimes works with RWD cars (noy always and depends on gear ration and traction), but 760 is x-drive only, as far as i know.

Yes, both cars are xDrive only, and both cars have the same Gear Ratios and Final Drive Ratio, both also make 800Nm of torque....

.. however, the M760 starts producing all its torque at 1550rpm, the B7 at 3000rpm, so if we look at the video, though we can't quite see exactly where the needle is, the M760 holds it's revs already in it's peak torque band before/at launch... the B7 doesn't reach peak torque for a couple of moments as the revs drop down to around 2300rpm... by the time it reaches its torque band, the M760 is already quicker and hasn't needed to change gear yet. There really would be no point in launching the M760 in first, all you're doing is giving yourself an extra gear change.

Individual M760Li xDrive with Individual Frozen Dark Brown metallic paint job for the exterior, as well as 20" light alloy wheels with a double spoke design.

The cabin features full fine-grain Merino leather in Cashmere Beige, whereas the trim is engraved with the BMW Individual signature.

car scoops

I'm with Giannis and hoffmeister - this is a 5,2 mtrs limo/flagship and matte paint doesn't suit it at all, regardless how nice the paint is... For a 3 series, 4 series and smaller Beemers yes, but not for a flagship. Looks like some aftermarket job...

matte paint on a car this size looks odd and unfinished.

... looks odd and unfinished on any car IMHO, however I think it does work better in some colours... of which that ^ isn't one!

Not a fan of Alpina's Matte finishes either.

In before @Gianclaudio at least ;)

Damm Martin beat me :(

Saw one a couple of days ago, the car has a massive road presence. Is a pity we don't see luxo barges often in my city, all that money goes to X6M, ML63, Cayennes, shitloads of whatever the Lexus Land Cruiser is called and some Range Rovers.
