C-Class (W205) [Official] 2019 Mercedes-Benz C-Class Facelift

The Mercedes-Benz W205 is the fourth generation of the Mercedes-Benz C-Class. It is the successor to the C-Class W204 and predecessor to the C-Class W206. Body styles: W205 (sedan), S205 (station wagon/estate), C205 (coupé), A205 (cabriolet), and V205 (long-wheelbase). Production: February 2014 – June 2021, 2016–2023 (coupé and cabriolet). Model years: 2015–2021, 2017–2023 (coupé and cabriolet).
This power and torque comes in much later in the new c200. That explains the slower performance.

I see this new c200 as the replacement for the old c180 and I forsee mercedes launching a c220 or c250 with the real 2litre engine.
It's interesting what you mentioning as maybe the C200 will be the new base model (well unless they bring out a C180 to replace the current C160) in a similar way like A-class is with the A200 and they had a A220 model previously.

So since the C43 gets the current C63 treatment up front, is the FL C63 going to get the Pana grille like the AMG GT 4-door/GT R?

More powerful, more efficient engine Page 5 The 2019 Mercedes-Benz C-Class will also benefit from a new 2.0-liter inline-4 turbo engine that produces 255 hp (vs. 241 previously) and 273 lb-ft of torque, an increase in 14 hp. The Sedan is also equipped with a 9G-TRONIC 9-speed automatic transmission that affords a dynamic driving experience. The C-Class Sedan is produced at four plants on four continents, including the lead plant in Bremen (Germany), East London (South Africa), Tuscaloosa (USA) and Beijing (China). The facelifted 2019 Mercedes-Benz C-Class Sedan will celebrate its World Premiere at the 2018 Geneva International Motor Show and will go on sale in the U.S. by late 2018.

For all the fancy MB display and eye candy like gauges, they are still missing the detailed refinement. Just look at this gear shift indicator on the bottom right. How did that get past graphics design? It is a grey block sticking from the bottom and obstructing the right part of the display...???

Must be some sort of glitch. Looks terrible, and wasn't like that in a previous photo you posted...

Perhaps it pops up whenever the gear selector is moved. I wouldn't fret about it until we see the animation sequence and actually use it.

We will see, I drive my car in manual mode often enough so I want to see the gear indicator all the time and preferably in the middle of the screen.

I think it'll change with the type of view selected by the driver.

^ Agreed, the new AMG bumper is a much needed improvement to the front plus the interior improvements..why not upgrade your estate too @Monster :D
Go for it mate great the new facelift.
I am holding out for the new GLE, or the Cayenne....I actually need more luggage space. Got to wait and see what happens, I rather carry smaller luggage sets than to drive a bigger car to be honest.

While the technology and visual updates are great, drive it first and make sure there have been sufficient chassis improvements to justify the switch.
Very true, I wonder if the suspension settings have been revised for the facelift.

I’m waiting with eager interest to read if the suspension has been sorted.

I reckon you’ll balk at the Cayenne pricing. It’s infuriating that Porsche Australia is getting away with highway robbery. I suppose why not, if there’s enough buyers to pay a premium for a car severely lacking in standard tech and equipment.
