CLA [Official] 2019 Mercedes Benz CLA

The Mercedes-Benz CLA is a series of luxury subcompact executive cars manufactured by Mercedes-Benz since 2013. The first generation was a four-door sedan based on the platform of the W176 A-Class and W246 B-Class compact cars, marketed as a four-door coupé. In 2015, Mercedes-Benz expanded the CLA family to include a station wagon configuration which it markets as a Shooting Brake. As the V177 A-Class sedan took its place as the budget-conscious sedan, the second generation got longer and wider than the W205 C-Class.
As are a lot if not all car companies are right now, they're...
It's not connected only to Corona crisis. They lost 40 bln Euro of their market value. This is for sure in the TOP TEN BIGGEST LOST OF ALL TIME. They announced two years ago, that they are investing 35 bln in AI and EVs. But they outsourced all the AI to nVidia. So that was a lie. Now they want to outsource almost all the software development in order to cut another 2000 jobs. They need a life support. No other company in the business is in such a bad condition, even Jag.

So your prediction in next 5-10 years is ?

EVERY company has baggage. Nothing you've said here says to me they're going out of business. Trouble yes, out of business NO. You're delusional if you think Jaguar is in better shape, which tells me you're just a cheerleader for MB's demise because to use Jaguar as a reference is utter nonsense. Jaguar itself is a captive company that is draining the life out of JLA and they're clearly dead and can't even sell cars anymore. Yeah so much better shape than Mercedes. You're completely clueless.

I wonder which planet you live on where you think a basket case like Jaguar is in better shape than Mercedes. Didn't say that they didn't have some problems, but I don't see them going out of business. Sorry if it doesn't workout for you.

And where did I say out of business? Sinking means that they will lose their relevance and most probably lead to change in their ownership. No investors would ever tolerate a lost of 40 bln EURO for their shares. This is not a problem, this is a disaster.

The CLA200 is not exactly a ball of fire, but I think for its power output its performance is adequate, but its fuel consumption at steady speeds is excellent for its size and weight.

Only 4,2 l/100km at 100km/h and just over 5l/100km at 120km/h gives a range of 780km on the small 43ltr tank, better than many EV's.

Yeah, but... It's got a Renault engine in it =

And Renault f#cking sucks.

Why does Mercedes have the nasty habit of always choosing the worst company to partnership with?

Wasn't Chrysler bad enough already?

Im looking forward to seeing the testing reports on the new Mercedes (and not Geely lol) engine in the latest CLA, sure its going to be an improvement on this Renault engine in performance and economy and maybe smoothness as well.
