That looks like Estoril Blue Crystal, I think, and it is a $1,075 option on the S4/S5/S6/S7. It is kind of the new-age replacement for Audi's Sprint Blue from a few years back.

Hopefully not quite as costly on the S3 or maybe a standard metallic which is $475.

Fantastic color nonetheless. That or hopefully they will offer Suzuka Gray would be my picks. Tough choice.

IT'S FREAKING BEAUTIFUL!!

Why does it say " A3 40 TFSI quattro " on the red ones license plate?

I WAS JUST ABOUT TO ASK THAT???????

I must say this little Audi has grown on me a lot, looks better and better. Better than the CLA actually.

Yeah, I almost fell of my chair when I saw the Q5 40 TFSI quattro.

But here is the explanation:

"Looking over license plate nomenclature and badging in photos from the event, our attention was immediately drawn by the Q7 40 TFSI, Q5 40 TFSI and long-wheelbase Chinese market exclusive A4 50 TFSI.
Could Audi be adding the 4.0 TFSI to the Q7 lineup or making a super Q5 above the SQ5 with the same potent twin turbocharged V8 as seen in the S6 and S7? The 4.0 TFSI has replaced the 4.2 FSI in most applications and, the former at least, seemed feasible. However, we could find no reference to such a launch in any show materials and what the hell was an A4L 50 TFSI?
Turns out this is a Chinese market specific nomenclature. Those watching the brand closely will note that European market Audis dropped their displacement badging a while back – leaving simply tech markers like TFSI, FSI, TDI, etc. America continued with displacement markers such as 2.0 TFSI, 3.0 TFSI and 3.0 TDI while China has gone an altogether different route.
Like the USA, the Chinese market also prefers a visible statement on the back of a car to denote the spec. Chinese market product planners decided that since cylinder displacement was no longer accurate to indicate a car’s performance thanks to use of tech like TFSI, Audi China has settled upon a number system that denotes g-forces on hand under full acceleration. “50” indicates more accelerative potential than does “40” and we’re told the A4L 50 TFSI is fitted with a 272 hp 3.0 TFSI while the Q5 40 TFSI is fitted with a 211 hp 2.0 TFSI engine.
All discussion of badging aside, we found ourselves particularly enamored with the look of the Q7 on display. This particular show stand specimen featured S-line wheels paired with a matte black off-road appearance package for a particularly smart look."

Simply brilliant! Now I only have to see the dark blue one and then decide which way to go :)
Are those the standard seats on that blue S3?

Even so tastes differ, who would want the S3 saloon in any other color. Eating breakfast (05:45 AM) as I look at these photo's again, my-oh-my it's really that good looking;)

The blue and the red both look great. Especially love the wheels on the A3. In terms of dimensions, how does the sedan compare to the B5 A4?

Audi

Audi AG is a German automotive manufacturer of luxury vehicles headquartered in Ingolstadt, Bavaria, Germany. A subsidiary of the Volkswagen Group, the company’s origins date back to the early 20th century and the initial enterprises (Horch and the Audiwerke) founded by engineer August Horch (1868–1951). Two other manufacturers (DKW and Wanderer) also contributed to the foundation of Auto Union in 1932. The modern Audi era began in the 1960s, when Volkswagen acquired Auto Union from Daimler-Benz, and merged it with NSU Motorenwerke in 1969.
