^ Wow the S-Class looks absolutely regal and elegant, even in that poor lighting. I honestly believe Mercedes could keep it as-is for the remainder of its lifespan and it would still look as fresh as the new and upcoming "competition".

I'm still somewhat struggling with the looks of the G1x 7-er. I know I said it looks better in the flesh, but other than the one I saw at the dealer, I've still not seen a single ONE in the wild yet. I've seen two i8's and 3 i3's in the past week alone, where's the 7-ers! Maybe it will grow on me as I see more about, but the S Class is just an easier design to like IMO. I do prefer the interior of the 7-er though, at least from the pictures.

Doesn't matter, the 7er looks utterly fantastic with and without the M pack. And against the S class, it really doesn't matter which pack it has, it's far better looking either way.

Weird. I've seen plenty already. In numerous specifications as well; with M pack, without M pack, SWB, LWB, Laser lights, with and without rear executive package, etc.

I've seen one! so far. I've to ad, that I'm driving >300 kilometers per day in the Netherlands and Germany combined. And still, only seen one...(in Germany)

Weird indeed, Klier. We're in the same country, I travel cross the Netherlands every day and I haven't seen a single G11/G12 so far. Heck, I've even seen a Porsche 918... Next week I'll be seeing a client in Delft (near The Hague). That's your turf, so I should be seeing a few that day.

Welcome to Sweden. Here you rarely see S-class, 7er or A8 unless you go to a dealer. But then again I don't travel the whole country.
Anyway, count sales by how many cars you see on the road is pretty pointless.
