Gone off track BMW Vs MB off topic posts from the Mercedes-Benz S-Class (W223) Spy Shots and Info

This W223 s-class interior is definitely a revolution for Mercedes BUT wait until you see the next BMW 7 series (G70) interior; from what I’ve been told, it will be a far greater revolution!:D
The G70 7 Series will mark 40 years of restyling E32 interior through BMW range in 2026 :D

Before my previous post, I had NOT read Scott 27 comments in post #3667. In his post, Scott 27 actually describes what I myself have heard from “BMW insiders” regarding the next 7 series (G70) design. The exterior is going to be an “extreme evolution” bordering on revolution (e.g even more prominent bolder grill) BUT the interior is going to be a revolution!

I would kindly ask Bimmer fans to google sales number between current 7 series Facelift and S class at the end of it's cycle (final year)

Go to your bimmer topics and brag about how big the teeth of the brand new Beaver...sorry , Bimmer 4 series are...

S class will remain king in sales , due to the fact that they keep delivering DIFFERENT things.

Not the most beautiful? Who cares? We live in a consumer decade , where people want different things every few years.

I'm not a big fan of the design of the W223 , but I bet it will be mind blowing in terms of tech , and for sure it will be a new design language in the interior , and this is a win for me .

They had the guts to make a new steering wheel in just a few years span (for example)

AS for BMW , the same s**t steering wheel design language since E90...

Bimmer fans have the guts to "shame" W223 design , and they have the most ugly front fascia in history with the car industry (future 4 series)

They have the guts to "shame" W223 design , and it's most expensive car has the most ugly infotainment system with the most ugly asymetric bezels ( 8 series )

So , in my conclusion : Keep hating , S class has decades of winning in sales numbers , and THIS is the ONLY thing that matters for MB leaders.

Now go back to bimmer topics. I think I saw the new 4 series in my backyard chewing some wood...

Cheers

PS: I really like the 7er Facelift , it's nice with the M pack...But W222 still beat it in sales numbers....

Cool I’ll do that, as long as you understand that Mercedes Benz does not give individual sales numbers of the S class . The S class sales numbers include the S sedan, convertible , coupe and most recently the Maybach against the 7 series sedan ONLY, I stand to being corrected. It would be nice if someone could provide sales numbers of the S class sedan. I bet sales numbers are closer than some of you would like to believe.

The W223 will give us a indication of that long standing belief , no convertible or coupe this time around.

Every post related to the 7er vs S Class has been moved here.

If you want, continue the fight here, but keep your distance, and keep it civil and safe!

Thank you :)

Are there seriously no Audi fans on GCF? Why would you guys exclude Audi from the title? :ROFLMAO:

Oh, there may be a few. Myself included. But unfortunately, I currently find myself being left a bit disappointed with their non-SUV/SAC model lines. Apart from the A/S6 +Avant, they no longer do much for me.

That being said-I'm awaiting the upcoming eTron GT in excited anticipation. Something truly epic may be approaching.

To be fair, I don't think we will ever see the true potential of Audi in either the luxury or performance sectors mainly due to the existance of bentley and porsche.

Yes, Audi is arguably "bridled" between its' aforementioned VAG siblings. The area in which Audi can (and at times HAS) excelled is that of exterior/interior design. As said, the current model lineup provides little evidence of that particular attribute. I must say that the current A/S6 always manages to stop me in my tracks. I perceive it to be the most eye-arresting upper executive segment sedan/estate. And save the Q7, I rather like Audis' SUV/SAC offerings.
