For me it's Win Phone 7 and iOS but to be perfectly honest I just respect iOS for the brilliance in app quality and hardware quality off course. As for as features goes, iOS is behind WP7 and Android. My next laptop will be a Retina Macbook Pro this October but I'm contemplating running Win8 on.
not bad. I came to conclusion that I need both in my life, iOS & Android. can't let any one go.
recently it has been the other way around, ANdorid is getting many attention from developers since the introduction of Nvidia processors in quad handsets (Galaxy S3, One x, Mizu ..etc). It seriously can replicate PS2 experience in your phone, almost PSP good kind of graphics. iPhone 4S is lagging ..I feel the exact same way after using Jellybean on the Nexus 7 for the last few weeks. I am really looking forward to getting the next gen iPhone when it comes out. I like the Android OS but prefer app quality on iOS.
I'm seriously waiting, cc in hand, to get a MacBook Retina. I have wet dreams about it practically, as I'm on a Laptop for either work or leisure or BS'ing around pretty much 90+% of my day, so it's really one of the most important devices in my life. Also, looking at that retina will be quite soothing for my eyes and senses.
Would you recommend waiting more time for them to work out more kinks/bugs? I already waited for Mountain Lion and that's here, but now I'm wondering if I should just give it more time, while at the same time, it's been out for a couple months or whatever, so I'd assume most early kinks should be worked out?

What happened to your iphone 4..?I've been without a Smartphone for some time, been waiting on this baby to come out! Gotten really used to the low monthly payments however (or having a dumbphone).
Same here - if you consider the original iPhone a "dumb" phone. Welcoming the 5 for the ability to do more complicated functions than taking a call without the phone shutting down. It seems the fully functional life of an iphone does not exceed 3 years. I work in portfolio management, so I'll welcome the ability to look at stock charts while in the bathroom againI've been without a Smartphone for some time, been waiting on this baby to come out!
