GLC [Hot!] 2022 Mercedes-Benz GLC 2nd Generation - Early reveal!

The Mercedes-Benz GLC is a compact luxury crossover SUV introduced in 2015 for the 2016 model year that replaced the GLK-Class. According to Mercedes-Benz, it is the SUV equivalent to the C-Class.
I can't figure out if this is a FL or a brand new model. Is it supposed to be brand new?

In any case, thanks for that video, that car it's as boring as the last Mercedes presentations and at this time of night it helped me to sleep.

It's ironic that you laugh at the XM post and enjoy the grace of this rusty nail, they don't drop a new idea even by chance.
What is the probability of a new idea in a mid-segment SUV with high sales volume? Have you seen a marginal change in the BMW X3? They sell the coupe format under the name X4. mercedes at least didn't give it a different name. XM is a different idea but a bad one. The X7 is a more sensible choice.

It looks good from the front onwards. I am still not sure about the tail lights, the graphics seem a bit low tech for a Mercedes. The light bar in the rear looks the same as older models, no change with a thin tube with no 3D effects. They could have made it have similar graphics like the S-class which is unique with its 3D dimple effect.

I think Mercedes needs to start introducing the AMG lite versions - 43/53 - right along with the regular models. Save the 63 models for last. Give the introduction more juice. I mean for the USA it's just a 255hp GLC humpback model - YAWN. Should have brought the 43 model out now too.

It's very pretty IMO. Look forward to inspecting the interior to see if the GLC and GLC coupe do have material upgrades over the C.

In hind sight, Mercedes did well to fit on the CLE tail lights on the coupe. Makes it look more upmarket than the sedan and GLC.

GLC 450 d with OM656 makes more sense to buy and use as daily and long range transport at this point.
The OM656/OM656M is a goldlocks engine, probably the best in MB’s current line up. It offers power, it’s fuel economy is one of the very best, it’s absolutely quiet and civilized, the sound gives me a feeling of coziness, like sitting at a nice fireplace.

Good result.

A plug-in hybrid with 74 electric miles is actually quite a big deal. That's about 119 km on electric power alone. Very impressive.

The packaging on this thing is remarkable. The shape is great too! I see the return of some physical controls on the steering wheel too. Please also add those to the climate control.

I reckon this will be very popular if it has good range.

An immensely important vehicle for M-B.

The current ICE/Hybrid GLC is very popular. Very frequently seen in my region and probably the most popular M-B here as well. And as charging possibilities are ample, including for those who do not have private wallboxes, I expect that we will be seeing alot of these being registered soon following the official presentation.
