Jetta [Hot!] 2022 Volkswagen Lamando L (China Jetta)

This is probably the most striking compact VW saloon I have seen in many years. The styling looks quite different to other VW saloons and a huge improvement on the dull Jetta that is available in US. I quite like it, the rear LED's strips are in yellow/light orange instead of red like in most other cars. The interior looks a bit like the Golf but with a larger screen.

Much much better than the normal Jetta, finally a "stylish" VW and with a different front end that is immediately liked, it flows very well.
Very cool seats and as you indicate, the rear lights too, in general you can see design work in most parts even in the interior details, a "classic" VW product but when they are inspired

It looks pleasant enough for the sort of mainstream automobile that it is. The "Sportback Theme" appears to be increasingly gaining traction at VAG. The classical 3-Box sedan is destined for extinction, it seems.

Isn't it just a rebodied Skoda Octavia?

The Octavia was born from the Jetta just like the Audi A3, Seat's, and some Porsche derived from the Toureg and some Bentley, Lambo Urus too.

In this particular case does it take away any merit?

I know, but the shape looks very similar, like they took the octavia and redesigned it a bit
