X3/X4 Facelifted X3: official pics & info!

The BMW X3 is an SUV manufactured by BMW since 2003, based on the BMW 3 Series platform. The BMW X4 is a compact luxury crossover SUV manufactured by BMW since 2014. The X4 is widely considered as a "coupé" version of the X3.
The new engines are sensational. It's a clever way of doing it by introducing the engines in the X3 - a good plug for the model range.

Do we know if the 3.0 TT is going to make it into the 6er anytime soon?

6er will get diesel engines with the facelift ... 3L VTT I6 could be one of them. :usa7uh:

Finally saw the FL Xs @ my dealership yesterday... the car looks so much better.

Outside in teh parking lot, they still had a '06 X3 parked right next to a FL, and it's funny how a few details make such a huge difference.

I like the interior look, exterior look from every angle except directly from the front which shows a bit boxy shape. However, if I were to live in an area that has proper winters (unlike where I am now with maybe a couple of snow days a year) this would be my daily driver. X5, ML, Q7, Cayennes etc..all too big...Also, I think the X-drive would be my choice for snow and ice conditions. So, overall::usa7uh:

The only big improvement are the rear lights. And i must say that i like the interior, very nice. But, everything else is just DAMN UGLY!

:t-cheers:

I agree with you there. Everytime I look on that front, it reminds me of a smashed front or something...kind of this:

I just never liked that car from beginning. BMW ugliest car by far.

X3: an anti-SUV!

Great presentation on BMW USA site:

That is exactly what BMW needed to do in term of advertizing. I myself never liked the car until my brother-in-law got one. Once I drove it and realized it felt more like a car than a truck, I started to love it.

In all honesty, now, I see myself getting one as a 2nd car once kids start coming into the picture. Normally, I would consider a 3er/A4 wagon, but they are more expensive.

After the facelift, I don't find anything really wrong with the X3. It's not a beauty, but it's far from ugly.

I'd agree with this statement. The first impression from the front is a bit boxy, but I think the facelift has had a positive impact on that view as well. This is a look that grows on one. This would definitely be my choice for a daily driver amongst the SUVs/SAVs in snowy/icy conditions.
It is a given that likes and dislikes are subjective, so having a car like this and someone not liking the looks of it would not bother me in the slightest.

Please go drool over your beloved Audis. Your fanboy-ish attitude will end in a ban again if you stroll to the BMW forums....
