Not an answer to your question, but congratulation! Is it possible to monitor the production any closer than "production start" and then "production finished"?

No idea! My dealer told me last week that "production started". So by Tuesday it should be finished and getting ready to be shipped to Greece.

I've seen a 118i with LME so yes its available.

It is available on all engines except from 116i. BMW is putting a new 116i on the 3dr from September. BMW can accept orders for the 116i.

I would buy an used 120d next year... I like somuch the 1er, but a normal one, isn't "one like no one" , so I want one with a particular customization... and the LSE is beautiful, sporty, elegant, and rare...

It's actually 5-door version (4-door would be a sedan which at least currently doesn't exist). There are pictures of the 3-door version in that thread I linked to but not on the first few pages.
