Great quals... I'm so happy for Hamilton and Heidfeld! Awesome! :usa7uh:

Crescent Street activities are sponsored by Honda and suck more and more every year... just a bunch of people trying to sell you crap that they can't normally sell with crappy music on stage, surrounded by crappy poser-tuned Hondas (which I didn't take any pictures of, out of sheer principle). Honda didn't even display an old F1 car to look at !? :t-crazy2:

The only interesting thing on Crescent was a military grade G-class at an army recruiting station:

Fiat 500 & Alfa Romeo clubs were showcasing some cars... Friday saw Ferrari & Porsche clubs prancing on Peel street, but alas I wasn't there :(

OMG! A massive crash ... Kubica (BMW Sauber).

I really hope Robert survived! :eusa_thin

Update 1:
BMW Team says Robert's condition is stable.

Update 2:
Robert's managers reports Robert is conscious & is able to talk.

kubica went through one of the worse crashes i have ever seen live.
terrible terrible! just terrible! your news is good though Eni.

let us see what happens next

hamilton
heidfeld
wurz

hamilton got his first top position
heidfeld showed he could contend and that BMW are geting better and better

while ferrari showed that schumacher's psychological trail on the terrain, his sheer pomposity and a fair amount of rule bending was the only thing that could make them win :D

renault are still french, you know the occasional strike of genius followed by a century of sheer stupidity.

1. Hamilton (McLaren)
2. Heidfeld (BMW)
3. Wurz (Williams)
...

Update 3: Kubica is OK, reportedly "only" broke his leg.

Update 4: Dr. Theissen says Kubica is OK (undergone checks in Montreal hospital), no internal injuries, no broken bones. :eusa_danc Amazing how safe this cars are - a direct frontal crash by 170mph & no serious injuries.

damn what a crazy ass race..
im glad kubica made it with only a broken leg.. ( damn those car are safe)
gotta give propps to hamilton.. maintaining his cool through all those wierd things..and keeping the tyres at a good temp to gain speed again and again..

ohh and FIA needs to change those stupid SC rules..they are super confusing..or the teams are super lazy and dont know them..
anyways it sucks..

fun and wierd race:D

PS
Ohh and hamilton opened a real nice gap.. i hope he wins the whole damn thing:D

WOW!!!!!!!!!! What a race, the sweet is still drying of my body. Formula 1 at it's peak.

Hamilton demonstrated that he is a top driver. During the race he was seriously tested with all the unfortunate accidents pace cars closing up his gained advantage. Despite that he always managed to drift away from Heidfeldt and gain back his advantage.
He has been extraordinary this weekend and nobody can take this victory away from him. :eusa_clap :eusa_clap :eusa_clap :eusa_clap

There is so much to say about so many. Webber is without a doubt one of the top fighter this race. Although he wasn't able to finish the race he did very well. Not to mention some of the underdogs like Wurz sho managed to snag a place on the podium.

F1 is as much an individual sport as it is a team sport. Alonso did what he had to do which was over take Hamilton. Still he did it in a kind of careless way and was pretty close to causing an accident. Then again those are the type of things which happen when one is under pressure competing against opponents which are as skilled as oneself.

I have to big a big thumb up to BMW, they did a great race. It was also nice to see Sato up in the mix fighting with the big boys.

Yeah. All the teams will have to open the text books on monday. Since so many broke the rules it shows that they are very unclear, or that the teams are ignorant and weren't thinking straight.

WOw, what a race !!!!

Best of the season by far ...

good to hear Robert is OK.

We've pawned the Tifoseria.

Come on BMW, 2nd place is possible.

Fantastic Lewis & Nick, great move from Sato. Hope Kubi won't miss padock too long.
