^ Couldn't agree more.Really away fro fanboy stuff the new 7er IMO didn't meet all the hype and speculation that was made about it's looks.
Man the tail lights of the 7er looks too much like the LS![]()

because Lexus used many styling cues from the current E60 7er.

And wow, it's really quite good. But nothing, and i mean NOTHING can make this look like DOS
yeah wimmmer i agree even like the e class font lights lexus did copy but i think bmw and i think mb with the new e are copying lexus with the exuast pipe finishingLet's not forget that Lexus shamelessly ripped off so many styling cues from the current BMW 7-Series. BMW is simply following their design evolution here so if it looks like Lexus it's because Lexus used many styling cues from the current E60 7er.

These rear lights on recent German cars really don't do it for me ...C class, Passat Coupé, and now the BMW 7.

^ wait a minute -- the new E class lights look much more like Lexus than any thing they have done previously.
You mean BMW right?True people but lets not forget which company originally introduced the 4 lights look
All the MB fans together saying how good the S really looks, hahaha

^ I never liked the shape of them -- the whole rear looks out of place to me. The rest of the car is so angular and and edgy.
I think the current LS is a beautiful car but the rear lights look BMW E60 7er inspired and Lexus has been fielding the Hoffmeister kink on many of their cars - which is a BMW tradition, almost a trademark.![]()
