The Mercedes-Benz chassis code W221 is the fifth generation S-Class, produced from August 2005 until June 2013. The W221 S-Class was unveiled at the 2005 Frankfurt Motor Show as the successor of the Mercedes-Benz S-Class (W220) and the predecessor of the Mercedes-Benz S-Class (W222).

Nope, that car is the closest thing to absolute perfection out to me. I'd probably take one over almost anything, exotics and Bentley/RR included. :bowdown:

Highest end SWB F01 would give it a run. What can I say, I like big Sedans. :D

Note that the one in my personal pics is 1 week old..sold and has a Brown Interior..
The one on sale now is identical but with a Black interior..

Nice. I still prefer the "Yellow" color, seems easiest on the eyes, and has the warmest glow. Nice to have options though. ;)
 
Sat in a 2013 just yesterday, such a plush, all encompassing Mercedes. If I needed a bigger car a nice 2010+ would be perfection.

There should be some great 2013 bargains next year when the w222 hits. However the W221 might all of a sudden look dated after we've seen the new model.
 
What to say...well, I like that smoke behind more than anything in this world, so, I will choose 'wild' instead of 'pure', anytime :D If I need 'pure' then I'll choose Maybach, but nothing, I mean nothing, instead of S 65 :D
 
I did not know that the Mulsanne is such a tech barge but keeps everything tucked away until you need it. I love it.
