S-Class W221 S-Class W221/V221 - MY2011 update


The Mercedes-Benz chassis code W221 is the fifth generation S-Class, produced from August 2005 until June 2013. The W221 S-Class was unveiled at the 2005 Frankfurt Motor Show as the successor of the Mercedes-Benz S-Class (W220) and the predecessor of the Mercedes-Benz S-Class (W222).

This makes sense. All new F01 finally gets its proper reception after a slow start due to being launched in the worst 1-2 Automotive Sales years in modern times, W221 gets a facelift, and A8 is all new. Not to mention, the car market has leveled since the economic initial crash.
