I will agree with you on the Cabrio, but the coupe looks fantastic IMO. The Sedan is still not on my "good" side yet.

Its not the proportions, its that sloping downward style and bubble top roof, they don't go together. That and the chrome stip down the side that makes it worse. Its really a mess compared to previous Mercedes coupes.

With the latest spy pics, I'm starting to appreciate the E-Cabrio's design more. At first, I wasn't so sure, but I think MB can pull it off!

I have to agree. Disastrous. Ill-proportionned, heavy, over-designed, the added third window on the Coupe... The bulbous roof over an edgy body, the exagerated rear wheelarch... Total and utter fail imo.

The E sedan however looks stunning. There is no way in hell I would take the Coupe/Cabrio over the sedan. Funny thing is that it was the same way with the precedent W209 CLK, looked just so boring and uninspiring while the W211 E-Class is still stunning.

However, the first W208 CLK looked gorgeous, while the W210 E-Class was possibly the worst design ever for a Mercedes sedan, just ugly as hell...

Seems Mercedes is totally incapable of getting both right, since the departure of the sorely missed 124-Series...

The best looking CLK will always be the first generation, the C208. Don't ask how it was made, but the design is great.

The new E Coupe's only chance is the Cabrio version and in 550 trim at that, meaning AMG sportswear and better rims.

Oh, I saw an E-coupe at my school today. I think it belongs to a teacher. I didn't have time to take a pic of it because I was in a hurry to take my Business Math exam. If I see it again, I'll go and snap a pic of it next time.

The cabrio seems to be a real stunner!

I think it looks very ugly. Nothing nice to be found, even worse than the coupé. E sedan is by far the best of the three.

It truly is a remarkable car! I saw a silver one at the dealer about 2 weeks ago and it was AMAZING!

I am having a hard time understanding some of these Benz fans who like the Boxed up E-class better then the E-coupe. The E-coupe design flows way better.

I drive past a benz dealer on my way to work; I see both models. IMO IRL they look much better; they really do. Hopefully the cabrio will look just as sexy as the coupe...

Saw the Convertible version on the autobahn two hours ago!! Looks fabulous with the softtop. Much better then on the spypics, in my opinion. Very dynamic and elegant.
