This car is going to be really something. The interior color schemes look real British like those of Jaguar or even Italian like Maserati where you can specify dashboard color or package certain colors. Really like that. I guess the 9-speed will have to wait for the facelift and some next generation engines. S is to be presented in Germany in May!!! Guess they couldn't decide if China or Geneva was more important. We should get offical pics right after Geneva I think?

Its nice to see that MB is making the switch to Burmester. The setups in Panamera and 991 are fantastic.

I'm a big fan of B&O, but D3 S8 & SLS aside, their car audio systems are beautifully designed but quite disappointing in performance. The B&O in my S isn't much better than the standard HK system. B&O is the automotive jewelery that Bose was 10-20 years ago.

Got to agree with you. They haVE To do something about the v12. Though it is already very powerful, it just need more power to appease to the rich

^ The V12s were already mentioned to be a 2015 MY thing. Also, the 9-speed does not appear to be on deck before the facelift (if it does not make it at the debut, chances are it is not going to make it a year after).

I think the hot-stone massage bit is a sarcastic slide, going with the yacht and airplane equipment that stand in for interior shots they can't possibly reveal yet. At best case, it is the name for a heated massage setting.

I am piqued at that new interior color, nut brown. It is something I have wanted to have in a long time (a rich brown, almost-red interior)

With every new S Class.. MB will always make sure for her flagship to have this (shock and awe) treatment like no other.
From New technological and safety features down to detailed luxurious touches like Air balance and Hot stone massage, it's really packed with stuff to the max. It even has heated door panels, heated F/R armrests and SEVEN ambient lighting colours to choose from. LOL
Now it's really clear why this car has been testing forever.
Just imagine the amount of comfort, serenity and Well Being that will be felt with that S Class from MBC system and the dramatic reduction in NVH. As mentioned.. Class leading.

This time around its no sedan/coupe family only, a family expansion is coming in the future, that's why Mercedes is still keeping some of its new toys for future debuts.

It's not an easy job to be the best car in the world for so many years, you really have to be the best of the best.
And with the S Class... Mercedes never fails to do so.
