The front looks fine. The grille isn't as dynamic or mean as the E-Classes, which I guess is a good thing for the S, but I can already visualize them incorporating a more "evil" grin for the facelift. The grille reminds me of the W220 or the pre-facelift W221. However, they are using its massive size to convey stateliness, rather than playing with the shape.

The side dropping line and how crudely it plonks down into the rear wheel well looks like it could be a total deal breaker, it just might be that bad.

I think I like how it seems like they "flared" the chrome/aluminum trim on the rear door/greenhouse slightly as it sits into the bottom of the C-Pillar. Reminds me of a similar concept to how BMW gave flaring impression to that same area on the 7-Series, however with them, by creasing the sheetmetal to its form.

So here it comes, the whole pakage like I imagine the new S-Class:

1.) The cockpit
realy flowy, realy luxurious, all in leather


and with the displays/LCD-s on :


the details:
we can clearly see the co-driver lines, the recess in the new comand controlers etc.



2.) Back
the back-lights were realy dificult to draw, but this is how they are going to be 100 %!
i just dont know will they be bichromatic or just red...


3.) Side, the very intensive dropping line is clearly to see, it will be some kind of trademark of the new222


4.) Front
big, nice front-lights (remind me kind of an W140) and realy aristocratic mask-grill!

I like the Z shaped LED idea running through the headlights but why do the headlights need to be so large!
Look at where the Xenon les is locate, thats too much "headroom" if you ask me. MB must be planning on using very heavy eyebrows on the S-Class.

Dang it, don't tell me they they are placing the reverse lights on the bumper like they did on the SL. I hate that!
