A new S-Class on a dark street and no tape peeling??
I'd go bonkers on it. Hell, I'll probably go to jail for breaking into it :D.

Elegant & plushy interior, really love the diamond stitch on seats. But I guess its S600 as I could see a twin exhaust pipe on rear pic. In such case, which this interior, especially the diamond stitch will be in high spec variant and normal variant will have a different pattern?

Does anyone know if the bottom LED running lights will be eliminated just as they were for the new E-class? Its hard to tell with the latest spyshots.

I personally feel the LEDs (in addition to the ones in the headlights) add the distinctive Mercedes look.

Mercedes probably realized that they were superfluous and pointless at this point, which is why it seems like future cars will just have them in the headlights. IMO it should be one or the other, both just look too much.

Hi!
Looking closer at the frontlight design it now seems that the size is not that big as I assumed. Because you can see on pic 1 (this page) painted "metal" under the camouflage of the front bumper.
What do you think?

According to AUTOBILD,there'll be four wheelbase models in incoming W222 S-Class sedan,5100mm overall length for standard wheelbase,5280mm for long wheelbase,5450mm for super long wheelbase, and 5800mm for Pullman.
I guess the 5450mm super long wheelbase S-Class will compete RR Ghost and Bentley Flying Spur ,5800mm Pullman will compete RR Phantom and Bentley Mulsanne, this is reasonable.
But AUTOCAR said the super long wheelbase model is Pullman, its overall length will be about 5700mm,I don't know which
one is correct,it's confusing.

It's pretty obvious how the car will look, but the exact shape of the headlights is still a mystery.

I hope you realize that with the flash on the camera coupled with the colour of flash, that is the only reason why the seats look 'dirty'...

Those seats look insane. Like something you'd see at Brookstone or one of those types of stores. I wonder if they're standard or some kind of option.

About time Mercedes put some super fancy seats in the car.

as was written before it is the S600 and as usual it has its own design of seats.

Still looks dirty to me even considering what you just said... but you might be right :)

Well, his concern was probably that it soils easily/quality...

but if you go to a motorshow and sit in any car with light leather, you'll see the jeans marks. Depending on whether it's sealed leather or not, it will usually come off. Higher end leathers are often unsealed though, so can be a pain to keep clean.
Anyway, I guess that's why there are test cars with many different interior colours getting around :)
