It looks pretty final to me, albeit just covered up.

The bit we can see looks very much like the F10, although I would imagine the bits we can't look something similar to the Z4.

It´s somehow the very same interior than the F10. I would think it´s the real one if SCOTT hadn´t told us to expect a Z4 inspired interior.

:confused::confused:

EDIT: Does anyone remember this?, Could it be the 6er front end?:

If you sit in a Z4 the main control panel with the airvents , aircon etc is raised almost flat like a ledge , rather than being upright. This is carried over to the 6er. As seen in the pictures you can see it looks like a shelf.

No that was definitely the 7er , I remember this.

Is this the final interior design for the 6er?

It is, and it looks more like a 5er than a Z4. But at least it's not identical like the X5 and X6 :usa7uh:

Scott,

why have you got a F10 Modelcar as Avatar? (mine is aswell a F10 1/18 Modelcar:D)

I think BMW is playing safe here, they are gonna do te same s they did with the current 5er and 6er, same central console but diffeet lay out, so probably we won´t see that enormous piece of alu/wood across the dash that is on the X5, X6, 5er and 7er.

Hey Scott, any hint on the diesel engines for the 6er, and more specifically the tri-turbo diesel power plant? What about the "Md" concept as I read in another thread on the 6? Thanks for your answer!

E60 5er and E63 6er are far enough apart fom eachother interior wise to justify the different name. I only hope it will be the same this time, for the rest I'm sure it will be a stunning interior design.
5er interior with kneepads and calling it a different car is not good enough (X5 vs X6)

Good luck Eric3001, ,,,,I´ve been trying to get Scott to give us an answer to that question for ,,,,I don´t know how long!!! That info is so secret it´s kept safer than the gold at Fort Knox!!! I´ve even tryed bribing Scott with a couple of beers,,,,,,,,,,didn´t work!!!:t-cheers::t-hands:
I don´t know if I stepped on his toes or something, the fact is , no info on the tri-turbo diesel!:t-banghea

Better luck to you!!

Better luck to you!!

I have told you previously everything I know currently.
The diesels were the 640d and the 650d.

^
My concern was to the timeline of availlability of the tri turbo diesel.
Would it be upon launch or how long afterwards,,,,,,,but thanks anyway!!

I want and "WILL" get this new 6er tri-turbo diesel!!!!!
A month more or less (or five or six), I´ll just have to wait!!
Gonna go to Munich and camp out on the Welt garden and wait!(like the kids do at the concerts!). :t-cheers:

^ LOL, you're a funny guy :eusa_clap:usa7uh:

Scott, is the coupe code F13 and cabrio code F12 or don't you know?

Ok, thanks ... I'll wait until you know more then! But I must say I'm kind of impatient as the combination of a stunning design _based on what we can guess from the new 6er_ and a very efficient powerplant (i-e capable of taking you as fast as tolerated on long run, effortless and without wasting your time re-fuelling every 2 or 3h) sounds very promising to me.

Was this posted, I guess not since it is based on the GC concept.

I think it is almost as good as an official PR photo, except the CS rims of course.

The grille looks a bit 5er here, alpine, could you try to copy the one on the Gran Coupe Concept?.

The air intake on the PS is much better thna the one on the Concept.

SKYSONY: I hope I can but I am no good at PS.

Maybe member 04alpine325ci can chip in (I think it is his PS).
